Leslie shares her medicine by offering coaching, workshops, support and advocacy for Latinx/Chicanx families locally, nationally and internationally via Latinx Parenting. Leslie’s vision is of a movement rooted in children's rights, social and racial justice, the individual and collective practice of nonviolence and reparenting, intergenerational and ancestral healing, cultural sustenance, and the active decolonization of oppressive practices in our families towards liberation.

Louiza Doran

The name is Louiza Doran, but call me Weeze. I am a cis-het Amazigh* and my pronouns are she/her. I’m Bay Area born and bred (Oakland stand up!) If there’s music playing I’ll be bopping at the very least.
Able to speak three languages and my first loves are music and boxing. I’ve been called many things from coach, podcast host, advocate, agent of change, strategist and educator (to name a few) and ultimately - I am a compassionate provocateur that is out to uncover your path of possibility.
A little background on me - I hold a BA in Sociology from Berkeley (Class of 2008!), having parents that were born into Colonial Africa, it is a field that I wanted to study as I was radicalized from a young age. Post graduation I worked in music and then professional sports all the while taking notice of the way that Black and Brown bodies and culture were used and commodified in popular culture/America.
After years working in the corporate and non-profit realms I quickly realized that in order to alter our social reality as a whole, we as people had to shift and thus I began my coaching and educating practice with two distinct branches: Anti-racism & decolonization and empowerment & authentic alignment.
I designed a practice that honors my passion for both social equity and personal empowerment - believing that by teaching and empowering individuals to walk in their purpose, we can create an equitable, diverse and inclusive society.
My approach is a holistic one that considers the person, their identity and experiences as well as the communities in which we live. I am out to create a system that supports, edifies and guides people - through a process that allows us to take an honest look at how we can begin living in alignment with your vision, values and belief system.
